I'm trying to add agents. It has been in pending status for a long time.

Each user account has a confirmed status and a pending status. To get to the confirmed status, each invited agent has to verify their account by clicking the invitation email they received in their emails.

As an admin, I want to add nicknames to the agents.

As an admin, you cannot add a nickname. However, once the agents confirm the account, they can set their display name in the profile settings.
